Below are several projects which our engineering design team members have worked on in a variety of contexts through their previous firms. Take a look at our projects below!
We offer a variety of services within the military market! Click on the button below to see the different services we offer.
Airman Dormitory Facility. Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. Project Completed in 2010.
The multi-story building is a dormitory facility for airman and is approximately 46,800 SF. The building structure was designed for Progressive Collapse and included a Security System and Access Control system. Site development included anti-terrorism force protection systems, utilities, parking, access road and site improvements. The building was designed for LEED silver, but with suggested modifications during construction the Building achieved a LEED Gold certification. Engineering design included complete electrical, mechanical, and plumbing design for this military dorm.
Special Purpose Battalion Operation - Renovation of Building #2340, Fort Jackson, SC. Project Completed in 2009.
The project included planning and engineering design for demolition of electrical incoming power feed, panel boards; disconnect switches, wiring, receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, telecommunication systems, and fire alarm system on all three floors while designing and installing a new electrical distribution system, a new lighting system, new power feeds, new ATS, new telecommunication systems, new fire alarm/MNS system, new fire alarm/mass notification system, and a new Entry Control System.
Grow the Force – Unit Operations Battalion Headquarters. Fort Campbell, KY. Project Completed in 2010.
Engineering design scope of work for this project included telecommunication room for classified network, unclassified network, voice, user secure and non-secure telecommunications equipment such as Private Branch Exchange (PBX) and designed cable trays, Secret Internet Protocol Router Network, Secure Video teleconferencing, Cable Television (CATV), Audi/Visual Systems, Security Infrastructure, Intrusion Detection and Security Systems, Mass Notification System, Grounding, and Fire Detection and Alarm.
Reception Station Dining Facility. Fort Benning, GA. Project Completed in 2011.
The scope of engineering design for this project was to design lighting, power distribution and communication systems for 62,000-square-foot dining facility including a commercial kitchen and administrative offices. By specifying solid state light source fixtures and lighting control system, we were able to meet and exceed the sustainability and energy conservation goals to achieve LEED silver certification. The project also included designing power distribution system for the project utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and designing telecommunication systems for the building including CATV, Voice and Data, audio and visual systems, as well as mass notification and paging systems.
3rd Sustainment Brigade Headquarters. Fort Stewart, GA. Project Completed in 2010.
The scope of this project was to design exterior and interior electrical distribution system such as standby generator, power connections for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), exterior communication services, interior electrical and communications, UPS Systems, interior lighting controls, special lighting circuits, telecommunications, cable trays, SIPNET room, secret internet protocol router network, secure video teleconferencing, CATV, audio/visual systems, paging systems, intrusion detection and security systems, mass notification, and fire detection and alarm System (IDS).
2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion Building. Redstone Arsenal, AL. Project Completed in 2008.
The scope of this projects was to provide all site design and construction for the U.S. Army, 2nd Medical Recruiting Battalion. The 5,000 square foot building provides offices for Command Officers, administrative staff, technical support staff, IT staff, marketing staff, planning department staff, and development staff. The building is equipped with a conference room for meetings, seminars, and training. In addition, storage is provided in the building for storing recruiting material and records.
Whole Barracks Renewal Battalion Headquarters. Ft. Bragg, NC. Project Completed in 2010.
The scope of this project was to provide all site design and construction within the headquarter limits of construction necessary to support the new building facilities. The project included one large, stand alone battalion headquarters building of 18,100 gross square feet. Antiterrorism/Force Protection measures were also included in the facility design in accordance with applicable criteria. Construction on this building will include upgrades to exterior finishes.
