Grady B-Wing 7th & 11th Floor Renovation. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2016.
Renovation of approximately 30,000 square feet of occupied hospital space on the seventh and eleventh floors for B-wing of the Grady hospital. Project includes 24-bed intermediate care inpatient unit with supporting spaces, 26-bed med/surgical inpatient unit with supporting spaces, a data center including 15 telecom racks for fiber, data and A/V with 150KVA UPS and A&B redundant feed to the UPS and to the PDUs on each side of racks. Electrical scope of work included design of distribution infrastructure for normal, critical and life safety to the 11th and 7th floor B-wing requiring site visits and surveying of the existing distribution infrastructure to make certain of the additional capacity. Role: Electrical Engineer
Emory at Peachtree Hills Medical Clinic. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2018.
Transformation of 5,941 square feet former restaurant building into a medical clinic. Emory at Peachtree Hills is a Primary Care Clinic in Atlanta. In addition to exam rooms and a point-of-care laboratory, the clinic includes a radiology suite. The engineering scope of the project included mechanical, electrical, plumbing and special systems design plus redesign of lighting and controls for the driveway and patient and staff parking.
WellStar Paulding Hospital Level 200 Operating room addition. Hiram, GA. Project Completed in 2016.
Project scope included addition of operating room suite including 5 operating rooms, associated control rooms, one X-RAY imaging room, a med storage, clean storage and a satellite pharmacy on level 200.
Engineering scope of work included mechanical, electrical and plumbing; adequate power infrastructure to accommodate above spaces and equipment as well as cooling and heating of the spaces housing the equipment.
Henry County Medical Office Building. Stockbridge, GA. Project Completed in 2006.
This design-build medical office building with budget of approximately 7.5 million dollars consisted of three story structure totaling 46,000 square-feet. Medical office include offices, conference room, lab, exam rooms ans surgical suits as well as space for lease. Role: Electrical Engineer
Alpharetta Medical Office Building. Alpharetta, GA. Project Completed in 2007.
This design-build medical office building with budget of approximately 5 million dollars consisted of two structures: a two story brick MOB consisting of approximately 28,000 square feet and a one-story wood frame building of approximately 7,200 square feet. Medical office include offices, conference room, lab, exam rooms and surgical suits.
Hamilton Mill Urgent Care and Specialty Care. Buford, GA. Project Completed in 2017.
This project included conversion of approximately 16,000 square feet of shell space into an urgent care facility for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Engineering services included all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low voltage systems. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Hudson Bridge ENT and Specialty Care. Stockbridge, GA. Project Completed in 2016.
Located in Stockbridge in the Hudson Bridge Crossing shopping center, this Children's Physician Group office is approximately 12,000 square-feet. Existing shell building was designed to include, exam rooms, offices and conference room for pediatric ear, nose and throat (ENT) care services.
CT scan addition @ Hughes Spalding Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Atlanta, GA, Project Completed in 2017. Electrical Engineer of Record.
Project included addition of CT scan and control room, renovation of staff locker room and adjacent office. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
WellStar Development Center Backup Power Enhancement. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2017.
This project consisted of complete replacement of existing power distribution infrastructure in the central energy plant including the main and paralleling switchgears, as well as providing a new central power inverter to handle the emergency and egress lighting loads per NEC.
Central Energy Plant Replacement @ WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Marietta, GA. Project Completed in 2017.
The scope of this project included the replacement and upgrade of existing chillers, as well as replacement of associated three chilled water pumps and three condenser water pumps located inside the central energy plant in WellStar Hospital. This project also included modification to the electrical service and distribution in support of the Energy Plant modifications.
Emory University Executive Park Research MRI Additions. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2017.
Project included the addition and renovation of MRI suite including MRI imaging room, control room and wet lab for Emory University MRI research at 12 executive park. Engineering design included coordination with the MRI equipment vendor and coordination with other trade such as mechanical, plumbing and structural. Design of non-ferrous and non-magnetic lighting for MRI environment and imaging suite. Power infrastructure design in support of MRI and imaging equipment as well as HVAC equipment for heating and cooling of the suite.
University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Colloton Sub-Basement Switchgear Project. Iowa City, IA. Project Completed in 2019.
This project consisted of complete replacement of existing power distribution infrastructure in the sub-basement of the building and utility service coordination, as well as replacement of two banks of elevators and updating the power system studies reflecting the major upgrades to the building infrastructure. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
Iowa City Department of Veterans Affairs- Specialty Care Clinic. Iowa City, IA. Project Completed in 2019.
Project included addition of second story, approximately 11,000 square feet to an existing specialty care facility for department of veteran's affair. The addition included multiple specialty exam rooms, waiting area, offices and X-ray and MRI room. Bank of two elevators were added to the building to support vertical transportation. Electrical scope of work included upgrading the power distribution infrastructure to support the new addition. lighting, power and special system including nurse call, structured cabling, and security systems were part of the scope of design. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
ADMA Biologics, Inc. Multiple locations
ADMA Biologics is an end-to-end bio-pharma company manufacturing and developing specialty plasma-derived products for treatment and prevention of infectious diseases. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
Location 1: Kennesaw, GA
Conversion of approximately 7,000 square feet of an existing video rental store to a blood and plasma donation and laboratory center. In addition to the donor bays and lab this facility includes exam rooms, offices and meeting spaces for administration staff, reception and waiting, plasma processing area, shipping and receiving area. The construction was completed in 2018. Project scope included electrical, mechanical and plumbing services as well as fire protection and low voltage design. Designed included all new equipment and new utility services to the building and coordination with the utility companies. Project also included design of 150kW generator for back-up power to the special plasma holding and processing equipment.
Location 2: Knoxville, TN
conversion of approximately 9,000 square feet of an existing ACE hardware store to a blood and plasma donation and laboratory center. The programming of the facility is identical to the Kennesaw facility with exception of a mezzanine level to house the utility rooms. The construction was completed in 2020.
Location 3: Maryville, TN
Conversion of approximately 9,500 square feet of an existing Gym Facility to a blood and plasma donation and laboratory center. The programming of the facility is identical to the Knoxville facility with exception of adjustment to the floor layout per the configuration of the property. The project is currently under construction.
