Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta, GA. Project Currently Under Construction.
The project scope consists of the expansion of the South Terminal checkpoint and will add five automated screening lanes for a total of nine security screening lanes near the Delta Air Lines check-in. The heart of the new screening equipment will be the replacement of the existing x-ray scanners to new CT scanners for passenger baggage screening. The new cutting-edge technology is currently only used in a few airports across the country and will allow for faster and more accurate baggage screening. With the expansion of the security lanes, the project team will increase the size of the queuing area and will create extra support space for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This expansion will require infrastructure modifications, including structural, mechanical, electrical, communications, and security. Role: Electrical Engineer of record
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2019.
Renovation of the automated passport control technology designed to help passengers move more quickly through the U.S. border clearance process by entering information at a self-service kiosk. The kiosks are located inside the airport’s E and F terminals. This modification required infrastructure modifications, including structural, mechanical, electrical, communications, and security. Role: Electrical Engineer
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta, GA.
The project resulted in planning and schematic level design for the installation of total of 21 Mega watts on site power generation sufficient to handle the entire facility. Planning included utilization of 3 and 4 Meg generators at a project budget of $130 million. The planning documents was turned over to DOA and moved to the subsequent phase. Role: Electrical Engineer
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Parking Structure Construction. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2009.
The scope of this project included designing an electrical system for 5 level parking deck, including power distribution and lighting. Solid state source light fixtures were specified to meet the energy conversations goals of the client.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport AATC Office Renovation. Atlanta, GA. Project Currently Under Construction.
Renovation and expansion of the current office for Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company. Project included modification to the existing power distribution and new lighting and lighting control design. Role: Electrical Engineer
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Oversized Baggage Screening. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2019.
Project included planning, design and modification of the electrical power distribution in order to accommodate over-sized baggage screening equipment. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport TNC North Pick-up. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2018.
Planning, and design of the terminal north canopy pick-up area for ride sharing services. Project included lighting, lighting control and power distribution for the new canopy. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport HVAC Atrium Upgrades. Atlanta, GA. Project Completed in 2020.
Replacement and upgrade of the entire Atrium HVAC equipment at main terminal including modification of electrical distribution system in support of HVAC upgrades. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Atlanta Enforcement Office. Atlanta, GA. Project Currently Under Construction.
Renovation and re-purposing of existing and abandoned Delta Cargo building to house Atlanta Enforcement Employees. Project included modification to interior and exterior lighting, power distribution system, as well as voice/data cabling. Role: Electrical Engineer of Record
